And the Water Beckons, A Boy At Play




I love your playful side
Your eyes twinkling, laughing

I love your gentleness
Your toughness hides a teddy bear

I love your big heart
You brought me puppies instead of flowers

I love your optimism
You always have a list of toys to buy

I love your company
You are always up for road trips and cards

I love you
You are my partner and soul mate.

    Love the repetition of "I love", but the picture is the icing on the poem. Sweet sentimental poem.
