This is the page I made for an online class I am taking. Glogster lets you make links. It took me a while to figure it out. I watched a YouTube tutorial and went on-line to read some tutorials. I would recommend making some examples before having your kids use it for a project.

I can think of many different classroom applications. Writing - biographies - Geography - Social Studies. School Orientation.
Love the pictures and the frames you chose, Ruth. Did you have links on the page? I've used Glogster before & didn't find any, FYI. This is a great app to use.
ReplyDeleteI do have links - Washington goes to our school website
ReplyDeleteCastle Rock - school website
and then blogger leads to here.. Do you have any suggestions about working with Glogster?
I love this...have you tried Prezi? They are pretty similar. Will Glogster work offline also? I want my class ...this summer to try both. xo
ReplyDeleteI don't know. I had been introduced to it maybe a year or so ago. This is my first attempt. I know you can put video in it also.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure what I was doing. I think I'll have to look at the tutorials and see what it's about. I could enlarge the pictures and go to the two links. Can pictures be links to more information or to other pictures?
ReplyDeleteI don't know if pictures can link to other pictures. I have used a site called thingLink http://www.thinglink.com/ to link pictures to other information. Here is a link on my website Ropin the Wind http://ropinthewind.weebly.com Where I took a picture and embedded a link in the picture to more information.

I really like the look of Glogster but just haven't taken the time to play around with it. You did a great job on this one.
