Glogster - A Story In Pictures, Slice #8 of 31

This is the page I made for an online class I am taking.  Glogster lets you make links.  It took me a while to figure it out.  I watched a YouTube tutorial and went on-line to read some tutorials.  I would recommend making some examples before having your kids use it for a project.

I can think of many different classroom applications.  Writing - biographies - Geography - Social Studies.  School Orientation.

  1. Love the pictures and the frames you chose, Ruth. Did you have links on the page? I've used Glogster before & didn't find any, FYI. This is a great app to use.

  4. I don't know. I had been introduced to it maybe a year or so ago. This is my first attempt. I know you can put video in it also.

  5. I wasn't sure what I was doing. I think I'll have to look at the tutorials and see what it's about. I could enlarge the pictures and go to the two links. Can pictures be links to more information or to other pictures?

  6. I don't know if pictures can link to other pictures. I have used a site called thingLink http://www.thinglink.com/ to link pictures to other information. Here is a link on my website Ropin the Wind http://ropinthewind.weebly.com Where I took a picture and embedded a link in the picture to more information.

http://ropinthewind.weebly.com/3-shirt.html If you run your cursor over the shirt little circles will appear. Click on those circles and it will take you to the information.

  7. I really like the look of Glogster but just haven't taken the time to play around with it. You did a great job on this one.
