Well, isn't that interesting... I've so many questions about this character... (indeed, he must be a character!)
ReplyDeleteI love how you started with a close up and then gave us the whole picture. I want to know more about him! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI wonder how he kept his top hat on...
ReplyDeleteImagine the stories he can tell and imagine what stories can be written with him as a main character.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. They really help build the poem. I've driven on this highway before. Keeping his hat on was a miracle.
ReplyDeleteAt the rest stop we talked to him and I asked how he kept it on. He took it off so I could examine it. He told me that he made it himself out of leather and so it was created to fit snugly on his head.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw him on the road above us. (The road spirals to the top.) I had so many questions. Dan and I wondered if he was from Illinois (Land of Lincoln). When we got close enough to see his plates he was from elsewhere. I think he would make an excellent character.
ReplyDeleteI have lots of questions rolling around in my brain, Ruth. Did you find out more?
ReplyDeleteHe was very nice and we visited for a short time. I loved the image of the top hat and the motorcycle.
ReplyDeleteAs we drove behind him, that was my thought also.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! And a beautiful area of our country.
