SOLC #9 - How to Play Marbles - Found Poem

Kids playing marbles,
Drawing a ring
Throwing marbles in the ring.

The first player knuckles down.

Shoots his marble.  Hits both -
Marble and target,
Out of the ring!

Keep the marble and shoot again.

  1. Love this! Found poems are one of my favorite forms of poetry for all content areas! Thanks for the pictures, too! (love learning)

  2. The old photographs are amazing ... and what stories we can tell!

  3. I played as a child, had a beautiful aqua-blue marble. Such memories are good to find, Ruth.

  4. Found poems are fun to create.
